Our Wastani Beaded Belts  are 100% leather made from one piece cowhide leather, whole cut, owning the merit of strong and not easy to deform, offering you the nicest fit. It has beautifully hand-fitted beaded patterns made by our Women beaders. The belts are good for a classy outfit or just a casual one.  



All our pieces are traditional patterns in Kenya by one of the  women artisans we work with. By empowering these women, we are giving them the voice in family decision-making and contributing to the preservation of wildlife in Kenya.

BeadWORKS creates opportunities for pastoralist women in northern Kenya to translate their traditional skills into much-needed income. A business line of NRT Trading, the commercial arm of the The Northern Rangelands Trust (NRT), BeadWORKS is part of a powerful and growing movement to transform lives. By promoting peaceful community partnerships, we are committed to conserving natural resources and wildlife through self-governed, community-owned conservancies and sustainable, social and ethical enterprise.

When women have reliable incomes which are independent of unpredictable rainfall, communities and wildlife are able to thrive – together.

money. It feels very nice. So, we kept doing it until now we are really at a different level. We feel like employed people. You know you have an income when you can confidently do your own thing. We have come to a level where we can confidently take loans
