Chrissie Lam, the founder, and director of Love Is Project based in San Francisco California who has been one of the most supportive organizations to our women beaders decided to pay a visit to our women artisans on 18th August to see for herself how these incredible women make the amazing 'LOVE' bracelets and connect with them.
She was stunned to learn how passionate our women beaders from Kalama Conservancy are in what they do. Chrissie started Love is project out of her passion to empower women artisans in developing countries and enable them to run their own businesses and experience financial independence.
Her amazing brand of the love bracelets connects the wearer to the maker. It has grown into a global brand, providing 1,200 female artisans in 10 countries with jobs and a decent income to support their families.
Our women beaders were really happy to meet her.!
